Honey Pralines
First up, our Honey Pralines received rave reviews from David Fiske of the Chocolatier blog. David has reviewed most of our chocolates so we were keen to hear his views on our newest offering. David said “biting into this delicacy reveals that this is something very special indeed – this isn’t your average hazelnut praline”. Once again, we were blown away by David’s kind words and super positive response to the Honey Pralines. Read the full write up here .
Next up, we were featured in Notes on Chocolate by Annalisa Barbieri again for our delicious Honey Pralines. Annalisa noted ‘they are perfect if you fancy a chocolate treat that won’t send you down the fun-slide into sugar oblivion”. Thank you so much to Annalisa and The Observer for the wonderful feature and enjoying our chocolate as much as we do. Click here for the full feature.
Hot Chocolate
Then we launched our delicious real Hot Chocolate on our website and were lucky enough to be reviewed and featured again. The Chocolatier raved about our real Hot Chocolate and took our advice to personalise it. David added rum to our vegan, powder-free Hot Chocolate and said “think of your traditional rum and raisin flavour, then blend that with a fruity, smokey dark chocolate, and serve it all in a mug. It’s perfect for a cold winter’s evening”. Our fabulous Moonshine Florins also got a lovely mention as “fun, whimsical, grown up indulgence” with our Sunrise Florins that “deliver a satisfying crunch before releasing its flavours in an explosion of flavour”. Chocolate Florins
Journalist Annalisa Barbieri also commented on our Sunrise Florins with another feature in Notes on Chocolate “I love the delicious crisp of the very dark chocolate (90%) topped with sour cherries, blackberries and granola – that’s a concentrating treat”. Read the full review here.
Overall, we feel pretty darn chuffed with all the great feedback from critics and customers, so thank you so much for your continuous support. We were ecstatic we ended 2021 on such an unbelievably high note and received praise for our new additions to the Auroso chocolate family. We’ve come a long way since 2020 and weathered a global pandemic plus 4 or 5 UK lockdowns with some new challenging Brexit things thrown into the mix as well. But that didn’t dampen our spirits. On the contrary, it actually made us work harder, better and think of ways we could improve on the whole. Watch this space for our newest RaiseTrade, reduced sugar, ethical chocolate additions that will be coming to you in 2022.
